Core Shell Silica Particles
EIROSHELL™ is a patent protected product range of highly monodispersed, durable and reproducible porous core/shell silica particles manufactured by Glantreo. The proprietary process is completely tuneable allowing control over physical properties of the particles including the core and shell dimensions. The technology uses a sol gel templating approach to grow a porous silica layer on the solid silica core.
Morphology Control
Nanologica is capable of controlling the morphologies of its particles with great precision. We have developed assisted morphology control preparation methods that result in highly facetted nanoporous cage-type particles.Please see the recent publication from Nanologica researchers for more details.
Chiral Materials
We have developed a range of mesoporous silica chiral materials possessing chirality in the nanopore arrangement (3.0 nm size) and the morphology.These materials have potential as chiral catalysts and chiral separation media.
